Esprit has a long history as a Studio Pignatelli client. Marco Pignatelli’s first experience with the famous fashion brand took place during his eight-year stint in San Francisco, Esprit’s founding place and headquarters. There, Mr. Pignatelli served as a creative associate of Bruce Burdick, working on the first retail display system for use in Esprit’s American and European stores. After his subsequent return to Switzerland, Mr. Pignatelli and his organization applied this experience to take charge of planning and delivering more than 70 Swiss Esprit projects between 1991 and 2001.
